A few upcoming things:
November 28th Highwood Jazz Night
This event has unfortunately been postponed. We traditionally have 3-4 other schools join us for our event, but many are not able to join us this year. We will postpone to a TBA date early in the new year. Highwood Jazz Orchestra will still be performing at the Westmount School Jazz Night, on Wednesday, November 27th, in Okotoks. Please contact Mr. Graham if you have any questions about the event. Both HJO 1 and the Grade 9 Jazz Band will be participating in workshops with this year's guest artist, Joel Gray, trumpet player from Edmonton. We have worked with Mr. Gray in the past, and look forward to the experience of working with him again.
December 12th Highwood Celebrating Christmas Concert, 7pm

We understand the issues that are surrounding so many of our families and the community of high River. We would like to continue to offer support for those in need this year. A list of needed items will be sent home prior to our evening concert, please consider bringing items that are listed as a priority. As always, all cash and non-perishable food donation items will be delivered to the local food bank.
